League Information

The Cheyenne Trap and Skeet Club offer seasonal leagues where a group of friends can come out for friendly competition in a safe and fun environment. League seasons vary in length usually lasting 6-8 weeks with the first 3 weeks designated as class placement weeks. Each round consists of 50 targets shot in 2 - 25 round stints. A Lewis class is offered for all 8 weeks of league. 

League sign up will be posted on the league page prior to the start of season. Time slots are given on a first come first serve basis.

League Rules:

• Respective class assignments (AA, A, B) are based on the first 3 weeks cumulative scores

• Team / individuals 5 minutes late are required to shoot on the practice trap or without their  entire team 

  • • • If the subsequent team is on site, the tardy team may switch slots

• Teams/individuals are allowed to pre-shoot prior to beginning Wednesday of league

  • • • Yardage will be the maximum of class (if yardage has not been assigned)

      • Qualifying round(s) may be pre-shot or made up but must be complete by the third week of league

• Lowest score of each week is dropped in the cumulative score

• Scores are totaled with a cumulative score calculated at the final shoot to determine final placement in each class

• League payment can be paid in full or weekly; all team members must be paid prior to getting a score card

  • • • Lewis class can be paid for the entire season or for each individual week but must be paid prior to shooting

• The first 3 weeks of Lewis Class will be paid out at the completion of week 3

  • • • No one under 18 can partake in Lewis class

• Leagues will proceed through rain but will be suspended/canceled due to lighting, severe weather, or at the board’s discretion

  • • • If cancelled/postponed mid shoot, the current score is recorded and cannot be re-shot

• In order to qualify for an individual award, the individual must shoot all 8 weeks

Team requirements:

• Minimum of 4 members

• Subs are optional but 2 or more subs is highly recommended (to shoot in place of someone who is not able to shoot)

• Subs are not required to pay league fees

Cost:

League cost: $160.00 per shooter
